This page summarizes resources collected for an introduction to High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC) as applied to large scale Scientific and Engineering Applications. This includes software, algorithms and exemplar applications for a wide range of fields. The techniques described here should allow users to program parallel machines in a portable scaling (in number of nodes) fashion.
These resources include two general books (one, Parallel Computing Works which focuses on applications and another Designing and Building Parallel Programs on technologies). There are set of general articles and the complete set of lectures used at Syracuse University in 1996-97. We also have the key resource material for the basic programming technologies in HPF and MPI.
