Trimetra Servers
Overview of Platform:
Is an Intel-based hardware consisting of up to 10 Pentium Pro
Processors. These are called Xtraservers which are part of
Trimetra servers.
Compute Hardware:
Trimetra LY Servers are very similar to
Trimetra SY multi-node servers - CMOS Technology for
OpenVME, Intel Pentium Pro Technology
for UnixWare. LY Servers are available
as single node systems with the added
benefit of integral disk storage, up to
ten 4 GB or 9 Gb disks housed in the
OVS, plus retained peripherals on
Macrolan.
Operating System and Software Environment:
System Software includes OpenVME and
UNIXWare, support for Windows NT was added in 1998.
Trimetra System Software supports the latest version of OpenVME and a
15 user licence for UNIXWare.
